About The Position

As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help our client succeed. You’ll work with project management, schedulers, and task leads to build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll provide analytical support to your client for the development of well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project management and task leads. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience delivering financial analysis and management
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Teams, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to create reports that reflect financial planning and execution
  • Ability to identify financial risks early and collaborate across technical teams to develop solutions
  • Ability to communicate financial insights effectively
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a Navy Systems Command or Program Management Office
  • Experience with Navy financial systems such as the Program and Budget Information System (PBIS), Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), NAVSEA Enterprise Digital Capabilities (EDC), NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), or NAVSEA Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA)
  • Experience developing spend plans
  • Knowledge of Navy financial processes and requirements development
  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
