The Office of Advocacy and Wellbeing (OAW) within the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Financial Literacy Consultant. This position serves as the primary subject matter expert within the Faculty, responsible for assisting medical learners with the unique and often high-stakes financial challenges encountered during their education. A key aspect of this role is to meet national accreditation requirements related to financial aid and debt management counseling. The consultant will offer direct, personalized support through confidential one-on-one consultations, helping students assess their financial needs, manage debt, and develop actionable plans for financial success. Responsibilities also include designing and delivering engaging financial literacy workshops and seminars, transforming common learner challenges into proactive educational programs. The role involves building relationships with key partners across campus to ensure integrated financial support and resource navigation for learners. This is a 0.5 FTE part-time position with a term length of 2 years, offering a hybrid work arrangement on Main Campus, and is a vital resource for student success within the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.
