About The Position

CPA Tax Advisors is seeking a Remote Financial/Investment Consultant to support clients across Atlanta and South Georgia. This role delivers private financial planning expertise directly to individuals and couples, helping clients execute tailored strategies to achieve their financial goals and grow their net worth. The ideal candidate combines strong technical financial planning knowledge with a consultative, relationship-driven approach and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher required.
  • Series 65 or Series 7 license required.
  • Prior experience in financial planning required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, asset allocation, investment strategies, and account administration.
  • Must reside in Georgia; ability to travel to a remote office as requested if not located in the immediate area.
  • Willing to travel up to 30%, primarily between Atlanta, GA and South Georgia.
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with financial planning and portfolio management or CRM software (e.g., Redtail or similar) is a plus.
  • CFP, ChFC, or similar financial planning credential is a plus, though not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in executing tailored financial strategies that help them achieve their unique goals and increase their net worth.
  • Deliver private financial planning expertise to individual and couple clients through in-depth, dedicated planning engagements.
  • Build proactive, face-to-face relationships with clients, centers of influence, and prospective clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans, including data gathering, financial condition analysis, and development of recommendations for high-net-worth clients.
  • Research and analyze investments, strategies, and market conditions, providing sound financial advice grounded in current data.
  • Monitor and review client investment portfolios and performance, communicating key contributors and detractors to results.
  • Advise clients on retirement planning, tax optimization, and estate planning strategies, coordinating with the firm's tax and accounting professionals where appropriate.
  • Own the satisfaction and retention of the firm's high-net-worth client base.
  • Participate in client meetings as appropriate and respond promptly to client requests.
  • Grow and develop a client base through referrals and outside business development efforts.
  • Assist with the compilation of detailed financial reports using calculations, data, and client-approved information.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable fiduciary or suitability standards and stay current on industry regulations and market developments.

Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: Base salary of $55,000–$85,000, depending on experience and licensure, plus performance-based bonus or commission tied to business development and client growth.
