About The Position

This role involves compiling, organizing, and analyzing financial information to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes. It requires data analysis, trend recognition, research, and the preparation of visualizations and presentations. The analyst will also conduct data collection, normalization, validation, and reconciliation, assist in developing process improvements and automated solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the role contributes to the maintenance of financial databases and supports senior analysts in research and special projects.

Requirements

  • Data Mining Techniques
  • Data Visualization
  • Programming for Data Analytics (e.g., Python or R)
  • Business Statistics
  • Database Management (e.g. SQL)
  • Financial Modeling Skills
  • Knowledge of Excel, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and various coding languages (VBA, R, Python, SAS) are essential.
  • Prior experience developing and executing queries and/or reporting for data sets required.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions to make recommendations and communicate effectively with others in an understandable manner.
  • Capability to identify and document data quality issues, limitations and gaps that may exist.
  • Demonstration of sound judgment in actions and decision-making.
  • Ability to organize work effectively and follow through on work activities and deliverables.
  • Capacity to multi-task and work effectively with exacting deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and evolve with an ever-changing environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Accounting, Business, Finance or related Field
  • 2 – 5 Years of relevant experience
