Financial Crimes (FCC) Analyst - Partner Oversight

About The Position

The FCC Analyst – Partner Oversight role, supports the FCC Partner Oversight Team by providing due diligence on partner and product implementations as well as providing FCC support and to existing and new WebBank Strategic Partner relationships in the areas of Know Your Customer (KYC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money L extless{}br/ extgreater{}ending (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and Fraud other related areas.

Requirements

  • 2+ years financial crimes compliance at a financial institution with due diligence experience, know your customer and customer identification program experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of applicable BSA/CFT/Sanctions/Fraud laws, regulations, guidance etc.
  • Ability to analyze datasets quickly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment.
  • Ability to interface effectively with other departments and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding initiative, attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues.
  • Flexibility to balance and respond to competing needs within the organization.
  • Solid working knowledge of artificial intelligence tools, computer systems and software.
  • Outstanding initiative, communication skills (verbal and written), attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work additional hours and/or travel as needed.
  • Travel Requirements up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Support the FCC Partner Oversight Team in launching new banking partners and new products.
  • Perform due diligence tasks necessary for partner and product implementation.
  • Be attuned to spotting risk areas with partners at launch and on an ongoing basis, escalating to FCC leadership as necessary.
  • Support the execution of product risk assessments.
  • Review, assess and make recommendations on partners’ financial crimes compliance programs.
  • Support effective management of issues identified by the partner, the bank or other.
  • Perform testing of various FCC components of partner programs or support the execution of such tests.
  • Support audit requests, initiatives and execution of audit, exam and other enhancement opportunities, observations, findings etc.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external partners.
  • Communicate with partners to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence.
  • Stay abreast of sponsor bank / fintech partner trends and industry guidance.
  • Attend site visits of assigned partners ensure action items are executed timely.
  • Maintain FCC tracking mechanisms.
  • Complete assigned trainings timely.
