Flex is hiring its first Financial Crimes Analysts to monitor customer activity, investigate potential financial crime, make decisions about suspicious activity, and help build the financial crimes function. The analyst reports directly to the Head of Financial Crimes and works with the people who designed Flex’s financial crime program. The role begins with hands-on work through the alert and case backlog while keeping the queue current, and also involves documenting and improving processes as the function develops. As the backlog comes under control, the analyst can take on broader program improvements and responsibilities. The analyst reviews transaction monitoring alerts and unusual activity across accounts, payments, and cards; determines whether activity is suspicious; escalates higher-risk cases; and supports UAR and SAR filings. The role also includes enhanced due diligence, customer risk-profile refreshes, case documentation, pattern and detection-gap identification, collaboration across Risk, Operations, Support, and Engineering, and support for quality assurance and bank partner file reviews. The position offers an opportunity to help establish case standards and influence how the team grows.
