About The Position
The Financial Counselor is responsible for reviewing insurance eligibility, benefits and authorization with patients, explaining their insurance coverage and collecting any remaining patient balance due. This position participates in a monthly bonus structure program depending on how well the business office collects on AR. This position ideally will be transferring to an office in Lansing around mid 2027.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years experience working in a related Financial Counselor role required
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required

- Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
Responsibilities
