The Financial Counselor position, under the direct supervision of the Admitting Manager, is responsible for establishing a payer source and collecting patient-owed amounts for services rendered at John Muir Health facilities. This role involves identifying, explaining, and advising patients on potential third-party payer sources and establishing appropriate payment arrangements.
