The Financial Counselor will also negotiate payment arrangements, process forms, review patient bills in Athena, and update patient insurance information. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork are essential for this position. The role also involves understanding and explaining CareCredit benefits, completing call notes, adhering to payment plan protocols, and providing pre-procedure estimates. The Financial Counselor must act immediately on urgent issues, work effectively with the team, follow company core values, and ensure work production accuracy. Predictable and consistent attendance is required.
