The NSMS Standard Production program has an immediate opening for an ambitious Finance professional to join our team as a Financial Cost Controls Lead. This is a unique opportunity to work in a classified production environment, where all tasks are performed onsite. Our team is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, Estimate at Completions (EAC), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and ad hoc finance support to the program. Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Professional experience in a related finance role
  • Experience with MS Office (ex. Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Development of quarterly EACs; analysis/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.
  • Oversee financials for multiple programs in a portfolio area; assist and provide guidance and mentoring to junior analyst(s)
  • Budgeting, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management, and financial support
  • Assist manpower planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Develop and present briefing of program financial status to customer.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials.
  • Provide internal FP&A support for programs/portfolio; assist with forecasting, reporting and adhoc requests.
  • Support AOP/ Long Range Planning development
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
