About The Position

The Strike Initiatives SSBU has an immediate opening to serve as a Finance Lead within the Specter Portfolio. This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to partner with the program leadership team, which includes Program Managers, technical leads, and functional support. In addition, this role will provide the opportunity to increase exposure to multiple facets of the finance organization and Raytheon’s strategic endeavors. The Specter Portfolio generates approximately $350M in revenue per year. As a Finance Lead, you will have a key role in the pursuit, setup and execution of contracts while providing critical financial oversight and guidance. In this role you will interact with a variety of different internal and external customers and will have substantial interface with key personnel within the organization to enable strategic decision making as well as achieve financial results. This position is being offered in an onsite capacity based on the needs of the business. This role will support a program that resides in Tucson, AZ time zone.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Active Secret DoD/DoW clearance
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Program Business role, including Earned Value Management (EVM), Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • Experience implementing Earned Value Management, delivering IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report) & CSDR (Cost & Software Data Reporting).
  • Experience with financial systems and tools, including APEX, BW, Rplan, PMX, Excel, forProject
  • Experience in financial planning.
  • Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and numerous stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and professional skills when interfacing with all levels.
  • Experience drive change and influence beyond authority level.

Responsibilities

  • Broad responsibility for a diverse range of development and production contractual Earned Value Management (EVM) program controls.
  • Lead, coordinate, and mentor peers on the development and analysis of all program financial data, including contractual EVM requirements, and support of financial forecasting for the program.
  • Serve as a critical business partner to internal and external stakeholders by providing financial analysis, insight, and guidance to decision making.
  • Serve as the focal point for EV Compliance, including interface/coordination with the EV Tier 3, internal surveillance, establishing and coordinating portfolio EVM Cadence, active participation in scope control board, VAR reviews, etc.
  • Serve as the main focal point for trouble-shooting tools and reporting issues.
