About The Position

This role leads the process of combining financial results from multiple subsidiaries or entities within a corporate group into a single set of consolidated financial statements, in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. The role leverages a financial consolidation system (Tagetik) to consolidate the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement as well as any other requested or ad hoc reports. This role ensures that the parent company’s financial position and performance are accurately represented, providing transparency and reliable information for management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands on experience in consolidation software including implementation, mapping, managing flows, user training and report creation required. Preferably using CCH Tagetik or similar.
  • Requires a strong background in technical accounting, with CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Key skills include expertise in US GAAP financial reporting standards, consolidation processes, intercompany accounting, multi-currency management, and analytical review. Knowledge also in IFRS is a plus.
  • The role also demands leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to operate at a senior management level within a complex, multi-entity and multi-ERP organization.
  • Ability to work primarily during Eastern US time zone business hours
  • Ability to perform complex accounting calculations and analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Ability to be highly accurate with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, handle stressful situations, multitask and ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively, professionally and constructively.
  • Strong analytical ability.

  • Knowledge also in IFRS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the group’s multi-currency consolidation process, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, to produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated statements
  • Prepare high-quality consolidated reports for senior management, conduct variance analysis, and review balance sheet reconciliations to related subledgers to ensure integrity of financial data
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including IFRS, and local GAAP adjustments
  • Administer and improve consolidation tools (e.g., Tagetik), train users, and implement best practices across the group
  • Provide guidance on complex accounting issues, equity movements, business combinations, and multi-currency transactions under a private equity environment
  • Identify and implement operational and internal control improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the consolidation process
  • Collaborate with tax, legal, treasury, FP&A and regional finance teams to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting
