About The Position

The Financial Center Manager is responsible for managing and growing the Business Banking portfolio under $3MM in sales revenue. This role oversees a tier 2/3 branch with high levels of market growth opportunities, complex transactions, and/or in a de novo market. The manager will drive all aspects of branch performance, including growth activities for outside business development, and will identify, develop, and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new business opportunities. They will also cultivate and nurture existing customer relationships and develop a strong knowledge of Penn Community Bank's retail and commercial products and services. The manager will coach their team to confidently engage with customers, providing solutions and advice-oriented consultation to improve financial well-being. Additionally, the role is responsible for acquiring and retaining talent through effective onboarding, coaching, and development, leading a high-performing team that drives acquisition growth, mitigates risk, develops collaborative partnerships, and promotes employee engagement. The manager will also oversee branch operations, administration, staffing, audits, compliance, and security, and manage team participation in sales and service campaigns. This role requires compliance with all applicable regulations and Bank policies, participation in annual compliance training, and adherence to internal privacy and ethics standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years’ banking experience or experience in comparable field.
  • Two (2) years’ supervisory experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact well with Team members and customers.
  • Strong Supervisory and coaching skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized.
  • Ability to achieve sales goals through relationship-based selling techniques.
  • Must meet NMLS requirements.
  • Ability to use sound judgment when making decisions on behalf of the Bank.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred, a comparable combination of educations and experience may be considered.
