We’re looking for an experienced, service-driven Financial Center Consultant II (Banker) in the Chisholm Trail Financial Center to expand member relationships, identify financial needs, and provide tailored products and services. This versatile role primarily supports platform activities and pivots to teller, lobby floor management, and concierge responsibilities as needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • One to three years of financial services or related experience, including demonstrated experience with loan production, new accounts, and teller transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of credit union products and services, retail platform and teller operations, sales practices, and applicable credit union and federal regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, show empathy, and handle complex or difficult interactions professionally.
  • Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, and follow-through skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy, quality, composure, and a positive service mindset.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and support other Financial Centers or critical service areas with limited notice when requested by management.
  • Sound judgment and the highest level of discretion when handling confidential member and organizational information.
  • Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Reg Z, Reg B, FCRA/FACTA, and Service Members Civil Relief.
  • Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.

Responsibilities

  • Open and service consumer and business accounts, certificates of deposit, IRAs, and Health Savings Accounts; complete related paperwork, file maintenance, and debit card issuance accurately.
  • Interview members, process loan applications, and resolve operational issues while following EECU policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Evaluate members’ needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services using a needs-based, consultative approach.
  • Help the Financial Center meet or exceed monthly sales and service goals by using opportunity reports, participating in marketing campaigns, and making outbound member calls.
  • Perform teller transactions and transition between platform, teller, and other member-service responsibilities as business needs require.
  • Manage the lobby experience by greeting members, answering incoming calls, and directing members to the appropriate employee, Interactive Teller Machine, or digital dialogue office.
  • Educate members on branch and credit union technology to improve convenience, access, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot complex account concerns, ask thoughtful questions, provide solutions whenever possible during the initial contact, and follow up as needed.
