As a Financial Center Banker, you will help clients achieve their financial goals through personalized guidance, trusted advice, and exceptional service. In this dynamic, client-facing role, you will build meaningful relationships with individuals and businesses by understanding their unique financial needs and recommending tailored banking solutions. You will confidently open personal and commercial deposit accounts, facilitate loan documentation, conduct financial reviews, and help clients navigate important financial decisions while ensuring compliance with Riverview Bank's policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices. Beyond account opening and transaction support, you will serve as a trusted financial partner and advocate, providing seamless service across both financial center and digital channels. Through proactive client engagement, you will identify opportunities to deepen relationships, recommend Riverview's suite of products and services, and deliver solutions that support long-term financial success. Your ability to build trust, uncover client needs, and connect clients with the right resources will directly contribute to client satisfaction, deposit growth, and the overall success of the financial center. As a subject matter expert in relationship banking and client service, you will contribute to a collaborative team culture while helping support financial center performance and community impact. Requirements

  • 6 months –2 years of banking, financial services
  • High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of relevant experience or an associate degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide exceptional level of client service
  • Reads and comprehends simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Demonstrates professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Applies solid knowledge of Riverview’s products and services to recommend solutions, including consumer deposit and loan products, with awareness of basic business banking needs.
  • Ability to recommend bank products and services based on client needs. Build knowledge of Riverview’s offerings to support client needs.
  • Supports relationship growth through needs-based recommendations and consistent client follow-through.
  • Accurately processes transactions and maintains supporting documentation for consumer loan and deposit products.
  • Follows established policies and procedures with attention to detail.
  • Applies common sense of understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Developing ability to deal with standardized problems involving a few concrete variables
  • Seek guidance on client issues and develops the ability to solve routine problems.
  • Uses basic computer skills and business office equipment.
  • Proficient in teller software systems and MS Office.
  • Proficient in new account software
  • Learns consumer loan software.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in a changing work environment.
  • Maintains accuracy, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail.
  • Completes required training and maintain professionalism in client and team member interactions.
  • Maintains required registrations, certifications, and designations applicable to the role.
  • Represents Riverview Bank at community events.

  • Prior cash-handling or retail sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver welcoming, professional service in person and by phone, resolve standard client needs, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Open and service consumer deposit accounts independently while supporting basic business banking needs through simple cash-flow awareness and referrals.
  • Recommend consumer products and services that align with client needs and follow through on commitments to support relationship growth.
  • Accurately process transactions, maintain records and reports, and complete required documentation for deposit and consumer loan products.
  • Follow bank policies, regulatory requirements, and risk-management standards, including identifying and escalating potential fraud.
  • Collect and verify documentation and originate consumer loans independently and accurately, as authorized for the role.
  • Use financial center technology platforms, digital banking tools, and systems to support efficient, accurate, and client-friendly service delivery.
  • Maintain professional standards, complete required training, support financial center workflow, and represent Riverview in a positive and client-focused manner.
