This role is responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate payment of Veterans’ eligible program expenses to third-party providers. The Financial Assistance Coordinator will document and maintain thorough records of these transactions. The position involves coordinating and processing Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) payments, reviewing financial assistance requests, submitting them for quality assurance, preparing financial reports, updating client records in Salesforce and HMIS, conducting audits, and providing administrative support. The role also requires data entry for client enrollments, generating reports, communicating with various stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, submitting monthly VA Repository uploads, and demonstrating strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. A key aspect of the role is to provide exceptional customer service by prioritizing the needs of clients.
