We’re seeking a detail oriented Financial Analyst who can partner closely with field, operations and accounting teams to help improve performance and bring transparency to financial data. Requirements

Preferably 3 + years of cost accounting experience in field, grower accounting, or similar agricultural operations.
Ideally with an understanding of seed, planting, growing and harvest analytics
Preferably 3+ years of financial data analysis and reporting
Advanced MS Excel and experience with Business Intelligence, Cognos, or similar business analytics platforms required.
Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with field, operations and accounting teams to analyze financial performance and drive improvement
Monitor key operational metrics related to planting, growing, and harvesting onion
Prepare and present performance indicators and spending summaries to leadership
Participate in budget development, forecasting, data collection and regular financial reporting
Support capital project reviews by coordinating requests and analysis with corporate teams
Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries and raw material cost reviews
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and ad-hoc projects
