About The Position

The FP&A team supports the business by producing budgets, forecasts, analysis, and monthly management financials for the company. As part of this face-paced team, you will view financials through a critical eye, identifying variances or anomalies in data and trends. You will use this analysis to ensure financial accuracy, provide insight into business performance, and support strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business field.
  • Foundational understanding of the interconnectivity between the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
  • Experience supporting financial reporting analysis.
  • FP&A experience required.
  • Strong analytical, accounting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize vast amounts of data.
  • Experience supporting planning, budgeting, and accounting.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, data analysis tools a plus.
  • Basic financial modeling skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different levels of the organization.
  • Knowledgeable in personal computers, Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • PE experience is preferable.
  • Background in manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • OneStream experience a plus.
  • Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the enterprise consolidation for the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cashflow for planning and forecasting.
  • Assist with the monthly reporting process including the preparation of all internal financial presentations to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
  • Perform variance analysis of financial statements and provide commentary explaining variances for management.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual operating plan and capital budgets.
  • Support the consolidation of ongoing forecasts through strong working relationships with business partners.
  • Assist in the maintenance and administration of the OneStream financial system.
  • Support financial modeling activities, including scenario analysis and forecasting.
  • Assist in improving FP&A processes to reduce redundancies and accelerate reporting timelines.
  • Assist in the automated forecast process via OneStream.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting support for the Twin Cities operations, partnering with local leadership to understand performance drivers and trends.
  • Support operational forecasting and performance tracking, including key metrics related to production, labor, and efficiency.
