About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Financial Analyst to join their team in Everett, Washington or North Charleston, South Carolina. This role will work directly with Commercial Airplane and finance leaders, focusing on cost analysis and planning to support various business areas and drive financial performance with executive business partners. The individual will collaborate across Boeing Commercial Airplane, assisting with strategic investment planning, cost, material, and project analysis, and other finance improvements. This position is hybrid, requiring some onsite work at one of the listed locations, with potential for future changes at the hiring team's discretion.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
  • 3+ years of experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, financial or resource forecasts, and/or assessment of associated risks and opportunities
  • Work experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
  • Experience presenting and communication data in Senior Leadership briefings
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates assignments and leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs
  • Develops performance reports
  • Initiates assignments and leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to executive leadership
  • Makes recommendations to executive leadership on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
  • Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost opportunities and risks
  • Leads development of financial analysis using appropriate indices, financial and business partner data
  • Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause and recommend solutions
