About The Position

PCI Government Services LLC is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide operational services for the administration of financial support agreements under the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) for America Act for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This role involves supporting NIST's functions as financial stewards and scientific leaders for the CHIPS program, which requires meeting aggressive deadlines for funding announcements, application submissions, and award decisions. The position requires an integrated approach to program administration across the grants and projects lifecycle, ensuring consistent processes, program management, and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business.
  • Four - Seven years of Financial Analyst or Business Analyst experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and accounting expertise
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills .
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas using If, Index, Match, Lookups. Pivot table experience.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial completion scans of company applications reviewing both operational and financial data.
  • Analyze company applications financial reports to ensure comprehensive and thorough submissions.
  • Confirm if assumptions made by the applicant are reasonable.
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of assigned applications and incentive requests.
  • Provide a detailed understanding of project economics from the perspectives of all stakeholders.
  • Assist in day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring smooth execution of various processes.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of operational processes and procedures, and protocol interactions.
