About The Position

The Financial Analyst provides financial analysis and decision support to procurement, sourcing, and materials teams. Reporting to the Director, FP&A Operations & Supply Chain, the role translates supply chain performance into financial insight to improve material cost, price variance, supplier performance, and working capital. The analyst applies financial practices and business understanding to identify trends, explain performance, and support actionable recommendations, working closely with procurement, sourcing, materials management, accounting, and Corporate FP&A.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or business-partnering finance roles.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and the relationships among the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Experience with or exposure to forecasting, AOP, KPI reporting, variance analysis, standard costing, inventory, or working capital analysis.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and report financial and operational data to support understanding of performance and decision-making.
• Experience supporting strategic or operational improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and work effectively in a matrixed organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to apply sound judgment, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing finance, or a similar environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement and materials forecasting by maintaining financial assumptions and forward views on material costs, inflation impacts, and supplier pricing dynamics.
• Lead weekly and monthly KPI reporting, including purchase price variance (PPV), supplier cost trends, inventory levels, forecast-to-actual variances, and scrap analysis.
• Standardize and govern sourcing savings reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking, ensuring consistent measurement, validation, and communication of realized and projected savings.
• Provide financial analysis to procurement and sourcing teams to support material cost improvement initiatives and supplier negotiations.
• Support AOP, forecasting, and planning processes through data analysis, driver-based models, and scenario analysis.
• Use business intelligence, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting efficiency, analysis quality, and recurring finance processes.
• Communicate findings clearly and develop recommendations with guidance from finance and business leaders.
