About The Position

Amentum is sourcing for a Financial Analyst, with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in finance and/or budgeting, to analyze and forecast data relating to program budgets in support of USPACOM at Camp Smith, HI. This role requires a highly motivated team player who can take ownership of complex requirements, enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and has experience reviewing and approving travel expenses in accordance with the JTR. The ideal candidate will also have experience as a primary point of contact for internal inquiries, emails, and phone calls with strong communication skills, particularly in written communication.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word, and Costpoint.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in finance, including government contracting experience for multiple type contracts (FFP, CPAF, T&M).
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Decisively multi-task and proactively track all program level financial data
Perform duties in support of Month-End close and invoicing process, to include reconciliation of projects/accounts, review, and analysis of monthly financial data
Ensure compliance with both internal policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with the JTR, FAR, and DSSR.
Capable of leading a detailed financial review with program management
Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets, and generate various financial reports as required
Track expenses, process invoices, and assist in budget monitoring and financial record-keeping tasks.
Work(s) with Program Management and Contracts to ensure all timely deliverables to customer
Accurately and effectively identify/escalate issues to financial management
