About The Position

The Financial Analyst provides professional financial management support to the Government customer in the execution, reconciliation, reporting, and audit readiness of appropriated funds supporting the Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office. This position supports daily financial operations across multiple Army systems while ensuring accurate financial execution, compliance with Army financial regulations, and audit readiness.

Requirements

  • Experience utilizing GFEBS and Army financial management systems.
  • Experience with appropriated fund execution and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of Army Joint Reconciliation Process (JRP).
  • Experience researching UMTs, IDOCs, ULOs, UFCOs, Accounts Receivable, and audit documentation.
  • Strong analytical, Excel, and financial reporting skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Government customers and cross-functional financial teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field and 4–7 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
  • Experience with Army financial systems and business processes.
  • Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of CCaR and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial management support utilizing the Army General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR), Power Business Intelligence (Power BI), Army Contract Writing System (ACWS), and other Army financial systems.
  • Research, reconcile, and resolve funding differences between CCaR and Power BI allotments while coordinating corrective actions with Government financial analysts.
  • Coordinate funding authorization documentation and assist with reconciliation between Army financial systems to ensure accurate execution reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain the TAGM Active Budgets Monthly Report and resolve identified discrepancies.
  • Research and resolve Unmatched Transactions (UMTs), including Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs) and Unmatched Collections (UMCs), coordinating with DFAS and Government personnel as required.
  • Track and resolve Intermediate Document (IDOC) interface errors across Army financial systems.
  • Research and resolve Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs), including DAR-Q actions, contract reconciliations, and year-end financial closeout requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve Unfilled Customer Orders (UFCOs), Accounts Receivable, and other Joint Reconciliation Process (JRP) related actions.
  • Support financial audits by researching Key Supporting Documentation (KSDs), responding to audit samples, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
  • Assist in development of financial execution reports, budget analyses, and execution metrics supporting program management decision making.
  • Provide financial management support during Fiscal Year End (FYE) execution activities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Program Analysts on appropriated funding processes, financial systems, reconciliations, and execution reporting.
  • Develop job aids, process documentation, and recommend improvements to strengthen financial business processes and internal controls.
