Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with Power Pivots, Power Query, complex formulas, and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple systems while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Comfortable learning and navigating multiple ERP systems and financial applications.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, general ledger concepts, and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Naturally curious with a desire to understand financial data, accounting processes, and how information flows through systems.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities and processes continue to evolve.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Minimum Experience: 2+ years financial planning & analysis, accounting, or a related finance field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial reporting systems, CPM/consolidation tools, or SQL reporting is a plus.
  • CPA or CMA designation (or progress toward certification) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Extract, transform, validate, and analyze financial data from multiple ERP systems, databases, and reporting applications to support financial reporting and decision making.
  • Utilize advanced excel techniques, financial reporting tools, and data queries to efficiently analyze large and complex datasets.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, streamline workflows, and improve financial reporting through technology and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Research, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies by partnering with Accounting and Regional Finance Directors to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation, testing, and optimization of new ERP and EPM solutions, helping ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and successful user adoption.
  • Support the monthly financial close process.
  • Translate financial information into clear, business-focused recommendations that support decision making across all levels of the organization.
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the global organization.
  • Support system enhancements, reporting improvements, and special projects as the business needs evolve.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
