About The Position

As a Financial Analyst on the Direct Real Estate Team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Finance Team through the growth and development of private real estate funds. This is a unique opportunity to help build a scalable real estate platform within Fidelity’s Alternatives division. Your responsibilities will include oversight of property accounting, financial reporting review, property budgeting, acquisition support, and coordination of financial documentation, processes, and controls. You’ll manage vendor approval and accounts payable workflows, conduct technical reviews of US GAAP policies when necessary, and work extensively with Yardi accounting/property management software. Collaboration with third-party service providers and internal investment teams is essential to ensure smooth financial operations across the portfolio. This role will be based in Boston and will report to the Director of Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, risk, or operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with a self-starter mindset and a positive attitude
