About The Position

This role involves assisting in budget development and financial planning, performing pro forma analysis for facilities, and conducting complex financial actions with strategic recommendations. The Financial Analyst will coordinate with management to gather and analyze financial data, provide consultative services on financial results, and develop profitability measures for portfolios and business lines. Responsibilities also include reviewing branch profitability models, leading budgeting initiatives, and potentially administering incentive plans. A key aspect of the role is ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting
3+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, a comparable combination of education and experience considered.
Thorough knowledge of financial statements, financial analysis and business strategies.
Applicable working knowledge of the banking industry.

Nice To Haves

MBA preferred.
Previous related experience within a financial institution highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze branch profitability models and management review packages.
Lead division initiative related to budgeting and capital project tracking.
May administer and support incentive plans, determine payments and provide analysis to compensation.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
