About The Position

Finalsite is seeking a highly analytical, business-minded Financial Analyst to join its growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and wants broad exposure across executive leadership, private equity stakeholders, and cross-functional business teams. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in delivering financial insights, building executive dashboards, supporting board and investor reporting, and driving data-backed decision making across the company. This individual should be comfortable operating in a high-growth SaaS technology environment with strong rigor around metrics, forecasting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will also embrace the use of AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, surface insights faster, and modernize financial operations. This role will partner closely with Finance leadership, Revenue teams, Operations, Sales, and private equity partners to provide visibility into business performance and strategic opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in an FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical role.
  • Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting in BI tools.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue metrics.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, forecasting platforms, automation tools, etc.) in a business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leaders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Current residency, as well as continued residency, within the United States is required to obtain (and retain) employment with Finalsite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a private equity-backed company.
  • Experience supporting board reporting or investor requests.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and planning systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Experience in a high-growth software or technology company.
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, or advanced analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Analyze revenue, bookings, ARR, churn, retention, margin, and other SaaS KPIs.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Assist with annual operating plans and board-level financial presentations.
  • Leverage AI-enabled forecasting and planning tools to improve speed and accuracy.
  • Prepare recurring reporting packages for executive leadership, board meetings, and private equity partners.
  • Build clear and concise dashboards that translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Support requests from investors related to growth metrics, profitability, headcount, and operational performance.
  • Help maintain high standards of financial discipline, reporting accuracy, and accountability.
  • Design and maintain dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Utilize AI tools to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities across large data sets.
  • Partner with data and systems teams to improve reporting automation and data integrity.
  • Build scalable reporting for SaaS metrics, sales performance, customer health, and operational KPIs.
  • Create executive-ready summaries and visuals for leadership consumption.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and HR leaders on performance reporting and decision support.
  • Evaluate ROI of strategic investments, hiring plans, GTM programs, and operational initiatives.
  • Support pricing analysis, compensation modeling, and business case development.
  • Drive ad hoc analysis for strategic projects and executive priorities.
  • Recommend process improvements through automation, AI, and smarter workflows.
