About The Position

LogistiQ is seeking a reliable, and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. This position will analyze past product costing and pricing to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy. Performs a broad range of planning and analysis. Monitors actual results of order performance and department spend against plans, forecasts, and budgets, determines trends, and explains financial results. Prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management. Consolidates a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of short-term and long-term business plans.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
• Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
• Thorough understanding of project management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (Spreadsheets).
• Working knowledge of accounting, database, and other manufacturing software preferred.
• Successful completion of 90-day probationary period

Nice To Haves

• Two years of professional experience as an accountant or auditor preferred.
• Previous experience working with ERP systems (Syteline) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business and financial data.
• Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
• Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
• Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
• Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.
• Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
• Other duties as assigned.
