These roles are crucial for saving lives, reducing injuries and economic loss, administering Ohio's motor vehicle laws, and preserving the safety and well-being of all citizens. The position involves examining, analyzing, reconciling, and preparing accounting records, financial statements, and statistical reports with accuracy and compliance. A key responsibility is reviewing various transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) for revenue collection and distribution related to drivers' licenses, vehicle registrations, and other fees. The role requires proficiency in automated systems like OAKS and BASS, as well as standard computer software such as Word, Excel, and Access, to ensure revenue is correctly collected, deposited, and distributed. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will initiate credit card credits/debits and assist in developing, coordinating, and monitoring revenue management control activities.
