About The Position

In this role, you will support our financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions across our manufacturing operations and field service technicians. You will play a key role in helping management make informed business decisions through accurate financial data and insights. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and is located onsite at our St. Louis, MO headquarters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting/financial reporting
  • Experience creating Tableau reports
  • Strong GAAP and SOX knowledge/experience
  • Organized, systematic, and demonstrate abilities to develop strategic plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated; able to work well with limited direction and under pressure
  • Technical acumen, creative thinking, problem-solving, conceptual, and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance reports
  • Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts
  • Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate financial metrics to leadership
  • Assist in developing annual budgets for manufacturing operations and field services
  • Maintain and update financial forecasts based on operational activity
  • Analyze budget variances and provide explanations and recommendations
  • Track and reconcile manufacturing costs, labor expenses, and field service billing
  • Monitor project profitability and job costing accuracy
  • Support inventory valuation and cost accounting processes
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable reconciliation
  • Process and verify transactions and journal entries
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Support audit preparation and external reporting
  • Maintain financial documentation and records
  • Maintain financial databases and spreadsheets
  • Ensure accuracy of data input and reporting
  • Assist with implementation of accounting software upgrades
