Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 years of relevant experience in accounting & financial analysis
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite)
Nice To Haves
- CPA designation (completed or in progress) strong asset
- Experience with financial reporting tools (Power BI, etc.) is an asset
- Knowledge of US GAAP, taxes and regulations an asset
Responsibilities
- Support monthly consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key business drivers
- Support budgeting and forecasting, including dashboards and KPI tracking
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support audits and prepare required documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Support ERP and reporting system implementations or upgrades
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and variance analysis
- Investigate and resolve A/R and A/P discrepancies with Sales and Operations
