Financial Analyst
About The Position
The Financial Analyst role involves administering, maintaining, and supporting IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and IBM Cognos Analytics applications. This position will assist with the development and enhancement of financial planning and reporting solutions, manage and monitor financial data loading processes from multiple source systems, and validate data quality, consistency, and integrity across financial applications. The analyst will prepare and transform financial data for reporting, forecasting, and business analysis, develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and validation, and create and enhance Python scripts for automation. Additionally, the role includes supporting Windows Server administration related to finance applications, investigating and resolving system and data-related issues in collaboration with Finance and IT teams, and contributing to process improvements and documentation of financial systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience working with financial data, reporting, or financial systems.
- Good knowledge of Python for automation and data processing.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with large datasets and ensuring data quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English and Polish (written and spoken).
