Copeland has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst with experience supporting manufacturing operations and leveraging data to drive business decisions. This role involves generating, maintaining, and analyzing reports and financial data for monthly business reviews and process improvement initiatives. The analyst will participate in the preparation of annual budgets, annual standard cost updates, and monthly forecasts, and perform weekly and monthly financial close activities. The position supports manufacturing planning and operations through financial analysis and reporting, develops analytical tools and models, and provides cost and general ledger accounting support during month-end close. This includes journal entries, account reconciliations, operational reporting, and budget-to-actual analysis. The role also involves completing inventory reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances, and partnering with manufacturing engineering, production control, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop business case assumptions and financial analyses. The analyst will provide department leaders with key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial insights, participate in cross-functional projects, and provide ad hoc financial analysis.
