About The Position

Mechanical One is a rapidly expanding residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical company in the Southeast. We are seeking a motivated and high-capacity student for a role offering significant exposure to finance, operations, and growth. This position involves working directly with leadership to drive key business decisions and will provide hands-on experience in financial reporting, forecasting, data analysis, and operational problem-solving. This is an in-office role located in Orlando, FL, offering flexible hours that can accommodate an MBA student's schedule.

Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate at University of Central Florida (Finance, Accounting)
• Strong Excel skills (formulas and pivots)
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• High ownership / low ego
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
• Willing to be in-office and engaged with the team
• Strong work ethic: show up early, stay late when needed, and take pride in outworking expectations
• Currently live in the Orlando, FL area

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models (revenue, margin, forecasting)
• Support monthly business reviews and KPI tracking
• Analyze job-level profitability, labor trends, and purchasing data
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting (FY26 AOP and beyond)
• Work with large datasets (ADVANCED Excel required, Power BI a plus)
• Identify issues and bring solutions
• Engage with the team in an in-office environment
• Develop and deliver live presentations
