About The Position

Kickstart your finance career as a Financial Analyst within our client. This role is designed for an ambitious professional eager to master financial reporting, planning, and analysis. You will serve as a key contributor to our client's data-driven culture, working alongside senior mentors to translate numbers into actionable business insights. As you grow, you'll take on increasing responsibility in supporting strategic decision-making and optimizing our financial processes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a quantitative field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience (internships and co-ops count!).
  • Technical Savvy: Foundational proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, basic modeling).
  • Analytical Mindset: A natural comfort with large datasets and the "detective work" required to solve financial puzzles.
  • Communication: Ability to distill complex data into clear, professional insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, a proactive "can-do" attitude, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with financial systems or ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Dashboards: Support the preparation of recurring financial reports and visualizations that provide leadership with a clear view of business performance.
  • Financial Close Support: Drive accuracy during month-end and quarter-end cycles by validating data, performing variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget), and documenting findings.
  • Systems Evolution: Play a hands-on role in our digital transformation by assisting with data migration and the refinement of accounting processes within our updated software architecture.
  • Data Integrity: Collect and harmonize financial data from various internal sources to ensure a "single source of truth" for all reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a financial resource for internal teams, responding to inquiries and providing data-backed answers to routine business questions.
  • Special Projects: Tackle ad hoc analysis and strategic projects as assigned, providing fresh perspectives on financial challenges.
  • Compliance & Excellence: Maintain rigorous adherence to internal controls and documentation standards to ensure audit-ready financial records.
