About The Position

The Financial Analyst will support the overall Accounting and Finance department on special projects as directed. This role will assist in the roll-up of the corporate annual budget and quarterly forecast, and in the execution of monthly financial and management reporting for all divisions and departments. The analyst will contribute to project/initiative, business case, and ad hoc scenario analyses, and will be involved with Finance & Accounting systems evolution, including system evaluation, selection, and integration. The position requires the development of analytical skills in valuation techniques and financial modeling, and the ability to understand and develop meaningful management reporting. The role also involves assisting in the development of a data integrity and consistency program.

Requirements

Zero to two years of similar or related experience
Systems skills – Applied Epic, SAP Concur
Experience with MS Office products preferred, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Candidate must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Minimal travel required.

Involvement with Finance & Accounting systems evolution. Assists in system evaluation, selection, and integration, as needed. Achieve Subject Matter Expert status related to systems functionality and reporting.
Assists in the participation of industry benchmarking studies.
Assists with internal modeling structure providing insight and recommendation to facilitate evaluation of acquisition prospects as directed.
Assists in the analysis of customer and product profitability.
Understand the relevant, meaningful management reporting requested by each leader and assist in the development of such reporting.
Assists in development of data integrity and consistency program and structure.
Development of analytical skills both in valuation techniques and financial modeling.
