Financial Analyst (Onsite)
About The Position
The Financial Analyst supports RTX’s Finance organization in enabling program execution, driving financial stewardship, and supporting delivery of mission-critical capabilities. Working with teams including Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Contracts, the analyst performs foundational financial tasks, supports data accuracy, prepares standard reports, and assists senior team members. The position calls for accuracy, attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. This is an onsite role in Tucson, Arizona. The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active, existing DoD Secret security clearance after the first day.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Business, Engineering, or a relevant field, obtained by the start date.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- U.S. citizenship, because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day one.
Nice To Haves
- Project exposure to finance or analytics.
- Experience creating basic presentations or financial visuals.
- Strong math and spreadsheet skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare standard financial reports and metrics using provided tools and guidance.
- Extract data from SAP, Analysis for Office, and related systems.
- Support reconciliations, variance explanations, and routine finance tasks.
- Perform data validation in support of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end cycles.
- Assist with creating and maintaining spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
