About The Position

Current Lighting is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, analysis, and business decision-making. This role will partner with finance, accounting, and business leaders to analyze operating expenses, maintain key schedules, improve reporting, and provide insights that support cost management and organizational performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and comfortable using financial systems and data analytics tools to translate information into clear, actionable recommendations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or a related finance role preferred.
Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial systems, reporting tools, and large datasets.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Collaborative team player with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and support continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP, Power BI, and OneStream preferred.

Responsibilities

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across departments.
Prepare monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management presentations.
Analyze operating expenses, cost trends, and business drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
Maintain prepaid expense schedules, allocation models, and related financial analyses.
Partner with accounting during month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support as needed.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using tools such as Excel, SAP, Power BI, and OneStream.
Improve recurring reporting processes through automation, standardization, and process improvements.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and decision support to finance and business leadership.
