About The Position

The Financial Analyst supports Accounting & Finance, Business Unit Leaders, financial modeling, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making. The role analyzes Profit & Loss performance, prepares reports and dashboards, and partners with leadership, interpret results and drive actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required)
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and data analysis
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards)
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong ability to pull, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Ability to translate numbers into clear narratives and actionable recommendations
  • Comfortable presenting to leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Power BI is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting Build Excel-based models projecting revenue, costs, and profit. Perform scenario analyses (e.g., growth vs. cost changes and margins impact).
  • Budgeting & Planning Assist in creating annual budgets. Track actual performance versus plan. Explain variances and provide insights into why numbers missed or beat expectations.
  • Data Analysis Pull data from systems (e.g., D365, Power BI, etc ). Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Clean and transform data into usable insights.
  • Reporting & Communication Create reports and dashboards (monthly/quarterly financial reports; KPI tracking such as revenue, EBITDA, cost per unit) for multiple business units. Utilize Excel, BI or other to present data clearly.
  • Present Insights into Leadership Communicate what happened, why, and recommended actions. Evolve from spreadsheet analyses to trusted advisory support.
  • Strategic Support Business decision support: evaluate new projects, pricing analyses, and identify cost-reduction opportunities. Scenario & Sensitivity Analysis Run “what-if” scenarios to inform decisions.
  • Industry Provide cost accounting support. Perform inventory and supply chain analysis. Conduct margin analysis by product line & customer.
