About The Position

Lynch Consultants is seeking a Financial Analyst to support an Intelligence Agency Client in the National Capital Region. The Analyst will provide leadership and/or coordination for the evaluation and redesign of current business processes to ensure effective and efficient use of business information technology and resources and improve process performance. The Analyst will recommend and design cost effective strategies for use of system technology to meet customer information objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business Management related field.
4 years of accounting or financial management experience.
2 years of experience in roles such as an accountant, financial auditor, financial analyst, or financial system analyst.
Active TS-SCI clearance.
US citizen.
Located in the Greater Washington, DC area (DC, Virginia, Maryland).

Nice To Haves

DoD / Intelligence community financial management experience.
CPA, CIA, CFE, CFGM, and/or CDFM certification.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and/or coordination for the evaluation and redesign of current business processes to ensure effective and efficient use of business information technology and resources and improve process performance.
Recommend and design cost effective strategies for use of system technology to meet customer information objectives.
Familiarity with OMB Circular A-123.
Knowledge of FASAB Accounting Standards related to Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E).
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Solve complex issues, take on new responsibilities, build relationships and think in unique and innovative ways.
