About The Position

Financial Analyst Point & Pay - Remote (Florida) Point & Pay by North. Custom payment solutions for government and utilities with a superior reputation in the market for quality products and high touch client services. The Financial Analyst at Point & Pay is responsible for assisting with monthly/weekly cadences, performing operational and/or other ad-hoc financial analyses, managing certain financial processes, and providing decision support. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail oriented, analytical person with a strong aptitude for problem solving. What you'll do: Evaluate financial issues and data. Provide analysis and other support to various members of the management team Prepare month end financial presentations, including performing variance analysis and providing commentary Provide recommendations on business decisions such as pricing. Periodically measure the performance of past decisions Drive continuous improvement efforts Organize and structure workload to meet daily, weekly, monthly, & annual deadlines Perform client account reconciliations, including identifying, evaluating, and resolving issues and concerns Assist with monthly P/L and cost analysis Perform Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum three years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Experience using analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills
  • MS Office / Google Suite
  • Detailed oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform with minimum supervision and make decisions independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Moderate SQL manipulation skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new software packages and systems
  • Strong research, reporting, and data manipulation skills
  • Experience in the Payments or Fintech industries

Responsibilities
