Make an impact supporting the DOD (Department of Defense). Lynch Consultants is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst. In this role, you will deliver high-quality support in a wide range of financial and program management activities to a government agency while developing your expertise in federal financial management. Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 3+ years of Federal experience
- ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizen
- Strong understanding of DOD financial operation
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Nice To Haves
- Experience in accounting
- Experience with having knowledge with DAI system
Responsibilities
- Record and maintain financial obligations, invoices, reconciliations, and payment data in accounting systems.
- Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, proper certification, and timely payment.
- Maintain contract payment files, resolve discrepancies, and research payment or disbursement issues.
- Analyze aged obligations along with accounts payable and receivable balances to support financial oversight.
- Assist with customer order entry, provide financial information to internal and external stakeholders, and support audits.
- Prepare and update standard operating procedures, internal controls, and coordinate with government accounting and contracting staff.
