About The Position

Rogers Group is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our Alabama Division, which is based in Huntsville, AL. This position reports to the Area Controller. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, intuitive problem-solving skills and the drive to meet ever evolving organizational needs.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years relevant work experience.
• Effective communication skills: written and inter-personal.
• Technical expertise in Microsoft Office suites (especially Excel).
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Effective organizational skills to manage a dynamic workload.

Nice To Haves

• Business analytics/data mining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain/update/publish weekly & monthly financial reports and interactive dashboards.
• Perform, summarize, and distribute quantitative analysis of weekly reports.
• Assist in month-end accounting procedures and inventory management.
• Assist in creation of annual business plan/forecast.
• Design and build analysis tools and new reporting as needed using MS Excel and data mining tools.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed by stakeholders throughout the market area.
