About The Position

The Financial Analyst role is a full-time position within the Enterprise Corporate - Financial Planning department. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, developing financial models, conducting various analyses, and applying government reimbursement rules. The analyst will also be responsible for posting journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, mentoring accounting staff, and presenting financial information to senior leadership. Collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders is expected, and the role may involve leading financial projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and BI tools

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, cost reports, and statistical data
  • Develop and maintain cash forecasting, capital planning, and treasury models
  • Conduct benchmarking, KPI analysis, and variance reporting
  • Support budgeting, cost accounting, and productivity standards
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses (e.g., program reviews, reconciliation variances, business development assessments)
  • Apply government reimbursement rules (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid) to financial activities
  • Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Mentor accounting staff and support financial systems training
  • Research and document technical accounting issues
  • Present complex financial information to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders
  • May lead or coordinate financial projects
