About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with revenue-generating departments, including Admissions, Business Development, and Revenue Cycle Management, to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, and a passion for contributing to organizational growth through sound financial practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role, preferably in a revenue-focused environment such as healthcare, education, or services.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with operational teams to influence business outcomes.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Valid California Driver’s License required.
  • Must pass a LiveScan criminal background check as required by licensing authorities.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Admissions, Business Development, and Revenue Cycle Management to analyze revenue streams, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for optimization.
  • Analyze financial data to detect patterns, anomalies, and forecasting opportunities; deliver clear, concise reports and presentations to the management team to support informed decision-making and positive financial impact.
  • Assist in the monthly close process, including reconciling accounts, ensuring accuracy of financial records, and meeting deadlines to maintain timely reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute key financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal standards.
  • Conduct variance analysis, budgeting support, and special projects as needed, providing recommendations to enhance revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall financial health.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools like Excel, or Power BI to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend enhancements to streamline operations across departments.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including DHCS, DSS, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Follow company policies on safety, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
  • Participate in audits, training, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
