About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with revenue-generating departments, including Admissions, Business Development, and Revenue Cycle Management, to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, and a passion for contributing to organizational growth through sound financial practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role, preferably in a revenue-focused environment such as healthcare, education, or services.
Proven track record of working cross-functionally with operational teams to influence business outcomes.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Valid California Driver’s License required.
Must pass a LiveScan criminal background check as required by licensing authorities.
CPR & First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Admissions, Business Development, and Revenue Cycle Management to analyze revenue streams, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for optimization.
Analyze financial data to detect patterns, anomalies, and forecasting opportunities; deliver clear, concise reports and presentations to the management team to support informed decision-making and positive financial impact.
Assist in the monthly close process, including reconciling accounts, ensuring accuracy of financial records, and meeting deadlines to maintain timely reporting.
Prepare, review, and distribute key financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal standards.
Conduct variance analysis, budgeting support, and special projects as needed, providing recommendations to enhance revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall financial health.
Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools like Excel, or Power BI to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend enhancements to streamline operations across departments.
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including DHCS, DSS, and Joint Commission standards.
Follow company policies on safety, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
Participate in audits, training, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
