What we need: We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Financial Analyst within the Office of Budget and Finance, headquartered at the ODNR Central Office located in Franklin County. What you will do… coordinates and performs a variety of fiscal activities related to accounts payable and accounts receivable & performs support services functions analyzes accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy and completeness assists with fiscal related training/guidance to division staff (e.g., purchasing, accounts payable and receivable) research, gathers, organizes and summarizes data to assist with resolving contractor and consultant questions and issues maintains fiscal records and processes bills for payment Starting hourly pay of $25.77/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 5.5 years of service, with an end salary of $33.52/hr There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates OCSEA Employees | Department of Administrative Services 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an intermediate level of experience in spreadsheet software. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field AND 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an intermediate level of experience in spreadsheet software. -Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Associate, 66561. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE\: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
