About The Position

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Financial Analyst – Level 3 to support the Intelligence Systems Division within its Space Sector in Redondo Beach, California. The position supports missions related to national and global security and reports to the Division Financial Manager. The work schedule is 9/80, with every other Friday off. The role includes financial reporting and analysis, financial planning, treasury and cash management, review and analysis of financial estimates at completion, and participation in the Sarbanes-Oxley control program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience, or a master’s degree and 3 years of professional experience, or a PhD and 1 year of professional experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance and SCI access.
• Working knowledge of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Experience with MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP and/or Deltek Costpoint ERP.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• IBM Cognos Analytics experience.
• Aerospace and Defense industry experience.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance at application, current and within scope, and willingness and ability to obtain SCI access; or an active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance at application, current and within scope; or active U.S. Government SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial reporting and financial statement analysis, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Support financial planning, including the Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Strategic Plan, and monthly forecasts.
• Support treasury and cash management.
• Review and analyze Financial Estimates at Complete (EAC).
• Participate in the Sarbanes-Oxley Control program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
