About The Position

We run a network of early childhood centers across DC, Virginia, and New Jersey, and we need someone who can show us where the business stands and where it's headed. As our Financial Analyst, you'll build the systems, data, and models behind our financial planning. You'll bring together data from QuickBooks Online, ADP Workforce Now, Brightwheel, and Google Workspace and turn it into the budgets, forecasts, and reports our leadership relies on to make decisions. This is a finance role delivered through information systems. Roughly half your time goes to designing, integrating, and validating financial and enrollment data systems. The other half goes to using those systems to produce budgets, forecasts, models, and management reporting. You'll report directly to the President, who sets priorities, reviews your work, and meets with you at least weekly.

  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Two or more years in financial analysis, financial systems, FP&A, or business systems analysis.

  • Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Skill in data analysis, data validation, and database concepts.
  • The ability to document processes clearly and explain financial results to non-finance leaders.
  • High accuracy and discretion with confidential payroll and family billing data.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

  • Analyze how enrollment is tracked at every center and recommend improvements.
  • Design and implement a consistent enrollment database and dashboard covering capacity, waitlists, starts, withdrawals, and age-band transitions.
  • Build enrollment forecasting models that feed directly into revenue forecasts and budgets.
  • Report classroom capacity utilization against licensed capacity and staff-to-child ratio requirements.
  • Produce the monthly management reporting package for the President.
