Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in: Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and partner effectively with various business functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SAP is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A can-do attitude, with the curiosity to seek out answers and the resourcefulness to solve problems independently.
  • Experience with month-end processes, annual forecasting or financial reporting is highly desirable.
  • French & English language (written and spoken) are required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the month-end close process for Marketing & SG&A with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare monthly variance analyses vs. budget, forecast, and prior year; provide detailed commentary and recommendations to facilitate financial projections
  • Maintain and improve Marketing & SG&A reporting tools and processes to enhance transparency and decision-making (e.g., reporting, forecasting, vendor invoicing).
  • Upgrades, automates and improves reporting and analytical tools.
  • Support brand performance reviews by providing detailed financial analysis, including category and unit-level insights.
  • Support partner relationships (e.g., co-branding, royalties) through robust reporting, forecasting, issue resolution, and financial process management.
  • Provide strategic support to the Commercial Finance (Trade) team by leading the development of monthly customer presentations, with a focus on performance analysis by product category.
  • Lead financial discussions during planning cycles (Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts) for Marketing & SG&A, coordinating input from department heads and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations for key stakeholders and senior leaders by providing meaningful financial insights.
  • Act as the primary finance contact person for the Marketing and Corporate teams and build strong & collaborative relationships, providing financial guidance and decision support.
  • Collaborate with Controllership and Accounts Payable to establish best practices (e.g., vendor invoicing).
  • Lead initiatives to enhance financial acumen within the Marketing team through training and regular communication (e.g., P&L basics, tracker usage).
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
