About The Position

The Ohio Department of Public Safety is seeking a Financial Analyst Supervisor to manage assigned areas of responsibility, enforce section policies and procedures, establish priorities, and supervise subordinate personnel. This role involves overseeing daily work activities, ensuring proper training for subordinates, conducting staff meetings, and maintaining reports on section activities and related program reports. Requirements

  • Option 1: 54 months experience or 54 months training in accounting and/or finance, including advanced experience in spreadsheet software.
  • Option 2: Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; AND 30 months experience or 30 months training in accounting and/or finance, including advanced experience in spreadsheet software.
  • Option 3: Completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; AND 18 months experience or 18 months training in accounting and/or finance, including advanced experience in spreadsheet software.
  • Option 4: 12 months experience as Senior Financial Analyst, 66563.
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment.
  • Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 months of required accounting/fiscal experience.
